LiftSense — Workout Logging App
This Privacy Policy describes how Joel Dubey (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the LiftSense mobile application (“the App”). By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
None. LiftSense does not require or offer account creation, sign-in, or any form of registration. We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, health data, financial information, or advertising identifiers. The App includes no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or tracking of any kind.
Content you create. The App stores the locations, workouts, exercises, sets, weights, reps, and rest-timer history you enter, along with any photos you optionally attach to a location, workout, or custom exercise. This content is written to a local database (SQLite) that lives entirely on your device. It is never transmitted to us, because the App has no server to send it to.
All processing happens on your device to power the App’s own features — displaying your history, calculating progress charts and personal records, and running rest timers. Because we never receive a copy of your data, we cannot use it, sell it, share it, or analyze it in any way.
Your workout data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Photos you attach to a location, workout, or exercise are stored as local files using your device’s own photo library or camera — they are never uploaded anywhere.
LiftSense does not currently sync or back up your data to the cloud. If you uninstall the App, clear its storage, or lose your device without a device-level backup (such as your phone’s own iCloud or Google account backup, which is outside our control), your LiftSense data cannot be recovered.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, because we never receive it in the first place. There are no advertising partners, analytics providers, or other data processors involved in operating the App.
Because everything lives on your device, you are always in full control of it. You can delete individual workouts, exercises, or locations directly within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App permanently erases all of its data from your device. There is no account for us to delete on our end, because none exists.
The App is not directed to children under 13. Since we collect no personal information from any user, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children either.
We may update this policy as the App develops — for example, if a future version adds optional cloud backup or sync. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” below. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
